Intellectual Property Management Plan

Our company has formulated this Intellectual Property Management Plan to align with the best practices of corporate governance, uphold a sustainable approach to business, strengthen the awareness of intellectual property protection among all employees, effectively enhance research and development innovation, continuously consolidate our position as a technological leader in the industry, and achieve our operational goals.

In accordance with our operational situation, we will continue to utilize the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) method as a reference for our existing management system, optimize and implement appropriate intellectual property management mechanisms.

Patent Management

Our company has established a patent management policy that clearly defines the processes for patent proposal, utilization, and management. We focus on innovative technologies developed by our research and development units with market potential, and strengthen the internal evaluation procedures prior to proposal submission. This includes conducting preliminary searches and comprehensive assessments to identify potential infringement risks, reducing intellectual property risks, and increasing the probability of application approval. In addition, we periodically engage external patent agencies to develop patent maintenance plans, ensuring the comprehensive protection of our research and development achievements. This guarantees the integration of research and development technology with our operational objectives.

Trademark Management

In order to uphold the company’s corporate brand image and trademark rights, and to ensure consistency in the protection of our trademarks and product promotion, preventing market confusion and misidentification, our company conducts systematic trademark searches, analysis, and layout planning before introducing new products. We are committed to strategically registering our trademarks in different regions to protect our rights. Additionally, we implement a comprehensive inventory management system to regularly review the effectiveness of our trademarks. Based on the needs, we renew and extend the trademarks to maintain their exclusive rights.

Trade Secret Management

Trade secrets are crucial to the company’s technological leadership, manufacturing excellence, and customer trust, and to comprehensively and effectively manage trade secrets, our company has established regulations in our work rules. Upon the arrival of new employees, they are required to sign a “Confidentiality Agreement/Non-Compete Agreement/Intellectual Property Ownership and Management Agreement.” The provisions regarding trade secrets are as follows:

l Employees shall not engage in any activities that infringe upon the intellectual property rights or trade secrets of third parties in the course of conducting our company’s business or engage in the creation of any intellectual property rights or trade secrets.

l Without prior written permission from our company, employees, whether during their employment or after leaving the company, shall not disclose any intellectual property rights or trade secrets owned by our company.

Upon leaving the company, employees shall return all intellectual property rights, trade secrets, and their copies or samples to the company.

The company regularly reports intellectual property-related matters to the board of directors each year. The most recent report was on November 8, 112, primarily focusing on the formulation and announcement of the operational business secret management measures to enhance the company’s management of trade secrets.
